on the artists way

so, you want to be an artist?

i first picked up the artists way about 2.5 years ago after reading the Julia Cameron profile in the NYTimes. i was immediately hooked, but unable to make it through the 12 weeks without getting stuck, giving up for a few weeks (or months), and then starting again from scratch. confronting your creative blocks is no joke! and for some reason, whatever reason, i had myself convinced i had to do it alone. why do we do that to ourselves? convince ourselves that doing something alone is somehow more of a feat than doing it with community? i'm over it. so, i started this community.

i’ll be running an artists way book club for 13 weeks beginning July 11th. if any of this resonates, i hope you'll join. whether its your first time or your fifth, let's discover and recover our creative identities... in community. because isn’t everything better that way?
